Police in Dundee are appealing for information after a house in Lawson Avenue was broken into sometime between 6pm on Sunday 31 January and 8am on Monday 1 February. Several power tools, along with a Sony widescreen television, a music system and DVDs were stolen.

Anyone with any information should contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.


Between 5pm on Sunday 31 January and 9.30 am on Monday 1 February, premises in Perrie Street in the Lochee area of Dundee were entered and a car was stolen. The car, a blue coloured MG ZS, registration number KV51 MWZ, was later found abandoned in the Charleston area.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to speak to any police officer or to call Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.


Officers in Dundee are investigating a break-in to two industrial units in Lower Pleasance. The break-ins occurred sometime between 2.30 pm on Friday 29 January and 3pm on Sunday 31 January.

Several power tools were stolen, including a drill and orbital sanders.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area should contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.


Police in Blairgowrie are seeking information after scrap metal from various vehicles was stolen from a lock-up in Burnside, Meigle. The theft occurred between 5pm on Sunday 31 January and 11am on Monday 1 February.

Police in Angus are investigating a theft of vehicle batteries from Forfar Recycling Centre in Forfar’s Queenswell Road, which occurred sometime between 5 pm on Friday 29 January and 9 am on Saturday 30 January.
