I left Dundee on the 24th March 1984 and went to Australia ....
I had a good friend called John de Jong who worked at that time on the Sedco oil rigs and had bought a house in 10 Greenstone Terrace.
I am trying to re-establish contact with him and an email from anyone who knows him would be great

the only one i know drinks in the last tram in lochee.. as its a fairly unusual name he would surely be a relative,, try calling the tram, 01382 611568.This one must be in mid 50's and was fom beechwood originally. happy hunting

will try and find more info for you, as my pal always speaks to him when were out. She hails from beechwood originally too, and i always assume folks she talks to are from there.but pentland/lochee sounds about right. will get back to you once i speak to karen.(pal)

a few hundred years ago ... least it seems that long ...
the Jungle book van ...
orange and white commer ...
there were more wooden curtains in Beechwood than any other part of Dundee
I see it is all gone now, along with the Aldler Multi's ...
